Lets take a trip back to September, shall we? I'm trying to embrace the current cold but really love the warmth that comes with the end of Summer. Jasmine and Dan's September wedding with a host of wonderful Windsor and Essex County venues was epic. It is one that I will definitely remember.
After getting ready we headed over to The Iron Kettle Bed & Breakfast for their first look and portraits. It was so hard to narrow down a few photos that tell the story when there are so many beautiful shots. After their creative portrait session they had a beautiful ceremony in Willistead Manor's outdoor garden, surrounded by their closest family and friends. Then finished the day at Mezzo Ristorante & Lounge for a fun party and delicious food!

Most of the time when I get asked by people what I do for a living, I get a response something a long the lines of, "I could never do that!" or "Do you have any bridezillas?" when in fact, I've been so truly blessed to have wonderful brides and couples to work with. One such lovely pair is Kate & Ian. You may remember them from their Detroit engagement session this past May. Their wedding, unlike their engagement, is anything but urban. A truly romantic and classic Sprucewood winery affair.
Make sure to check out their amazing vendors at the end of this post.
Thank you Kate & Ian and congratulations!

It's been a while since I've posted, so thought I'd share not only a beautiful engagement but a beautiful family all in one. KaSandra & Chris are getting married in May 2019 and wanted to include their two beautiful babes in their engagement session. Such a lovely couple. Make sure to take a scroll all the way through to the end!
Today is the first day of school for my kidlets and sending them of to school in September makes me dream about cooler days. Reality is... it's 109 degrees Fahrenheit with the humidity... bah... gross. So here's a cooler day with a beautiful couple to make everyone feel better!
Lee & Marie-Michelle's engagement session was back in May and it's still one of my favourites from this season. They are so effortless with one another and I loved spending time with them and their lovely pup Jasmine! There was a slight bite to the air which me have all of the heart-eyes over this session right now!
Just a few more weeks until this adorable couple ties the knot over at the Windsor Club! Can't wait to celebrate with you both!
What better way to get to know one another than to hop in a car and go tromping around in another country for a couple of hours? That's what I did with Ian & Kate. They love Detroit and wanted some urban photos so even though the weather looked like I may not cooperate, we headed over the border anyways. It drizzled so we took the opportunity to stop into Detroit City Distillery for a drink. Which by the way is a great way to take the edge off before diving into a photo session. We sat, got to know one another over a drink and by the time we walked outside, the rain had stopped and they were already having fun.
We explored the Eastern Market with all of it's urban deliciousness. If you love colour, you need to scroll through their engagement photos below. It was a lot of fun. We even caught a skateboarder's ollie over a railing which turned out to be their favourite photo from the night.
I'll be blogging their romantic Sprucewood Shores Wedding in the near future so stay tuned for some juxtaposition.
